I've mentioned in my other coffee related reviews that I actually have about 7 different ways to make coffee depending on what suits my mood. Maybe cooking with aluminum and Alzheimer's is a woman's tale, but I just prefer stainless steel (and yes, I know stainless steel contains aluminum, but not as much as an aluminum moka pot). Also, I just like to look better; it has a nice subtle, I mean SLIM matte effect. It has a handle that looks like a wood grain, but it's not wood, maybe it's wood underneath. What you see in the picture is a wood grain patterned silicone over wood(?) It's attractive and functional; The handles on my other pans get too hot to touch, this one seems manageable without the use of a hot pad/glove. My other mocha pots are made in Italy; this one comes from the land of many wonderful things, China. So if that's important to you and you absolutely must have Italian, well, game over, happy shopping. I really like this pot and if money is not an issue I would recommend it; but honestly I'd like to see it more in the competitor's range; for example low to mid $20. Thanks anyway and two thumbs up.
