Beautiful mocha pot! in espresso and mocha pots on the stove

I was new to moka pots but after using these I was sold out. Easy to use and makes a drink that's not too far off what fancy espresso machines can do. Making coffee is pretty easy. Unscrew the lower part and remove the coffee grounds container. Fill the basket with finely ground, dark roast coffee and do not pack too tightly. Boil some water and pour it on the bottom up to the level of the small valve. Place the coffee basket back on the floor. Unscrew the lid and place the pot on the stove…

This is a simple, beautiful moka pot.

I've mentioned in my other coffee related reviews that I actually have about 7 different ways to make coffee depending on what suits my mood. Maybe cooking with aluminum and Alzheimer's is a woman's tale, but I just prefer stainless steel (and yes, I know stainless steel contains aluminum, but not as much as an aluminum moka pot). Also, I just like to look better; it has a nice subtle, I mean SLIM matte effect. It has a handle that looks like a wood grain, but it's not wood, maybe it's wood…

Too hot for kitchen and dining room

I grew up with Turkish coffee and was very sad that I reluctantly entered the scene with coffee capsules. A friend tried to save me by sending me freshly roasted coffee, which I used in a reusable capsule. When the capsule fell apart I had coffee and no way to make it, so I resorted to the tried and true method of boiling water in a pot on the stove. I was immediately reminded how delicious coffee can taste and what I was missing. I ordered a "Primula Stainless Steel Espresso & Coffee Maker 6…

Works great, easy to clean but difficult to use

My roommate has a moka pot and I've fallen in love with it so I wanted one for myself. It doesn't have any plastic on it anywhere, which is something I always look for when getting a new coffee product, and that's a big plus overall. My JZPresso set to 22.5 can put about 20g of coffee in the basket and make the coffee even finer. or more coffee clogs it though. Better than my roommates who can handle about 17g of the same grist before failing through. Maybe it's the pipe diameter? I'm not 100%…

Quality construction but definitely not wood

I've always used moka pots for good strong coffee and have tried different types. Prímula offers multiple design options in stainless steel and aluminum, giving you an economical alternative to some other established brands. This Moka Por makes good strong coffee. The overall construction of the stainless steel components is beautiful and has a nice finish. Unfortunately, the handle and other components aren't wood at all and have a terrible finish in some places. This is a bit misleading as…

Disappointed with inaccurate description

I'm writing this review before using an espresso pot because I already have a similar pot and know that it makes good espresso, it's relatively easy to use and cook. clean. I wanted to give it to my son who is a purist both in terms of coffee and materials. My pot has a plastic handle and a plastic handle on top so I took that one to check and then gave it to him for the wooden handle. He likes materials that are as natural as possible and was looking forward to it. But now I don't think I'll…

Best moka pot I've ever used

I've been looking for a good stainless steel espresso maker (moka pot) for a long time. It's honestly difficult to find a good moka pot because there are so many fake pots on the legal pot list. In addition, some Italian companies known for their high-quality moka pans have started to outsource their production to China. I really wanted to use stainless steel because I had two aluminum moka pans that had oxidized and pitted making them unusable. A stainless steel moka pan eliminates this…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots

This is my first moka pot. I've heard a lot about them and am interested in making different types of coffee, so finally settled on one when I came across this stainless steel version. I don't really like coffee, although I do like the smell it brews. Sometimes I love iced coffee, but everyone else in the family should have their own cup or two every day. I've always wondered how exactly these pots work, and it turned out to be so simple! Water is poured into the lower tank up to the level of…
