Best moka pot I've ever used

I've been looking for a good stainless steel espresso maker (moka pot) for a long time. It's honestly difficult to find a good moka pot because there are so many fake pots on the legal pot list. In addition, some Italian companies known for their high-quality moka pans have started to outsource their production to China. I really wanted to use stainless steel because I had two aluminum moka pans that had oxidized and pitted making them unusable. A stainless steel moka pan eliminates this problem. The only thing that really bothered me about this model was the wooden handle. Regardless of the type of grip, keeping it away from a heat source is never easy. The wood on this grip feels soft and smooth, so I suspect it has a coating to keep the heat out. I've used this moka coffee pot twice so far and the handle hasn't gotten hot at all. The taste of coffee from a stainless steel Moka coffee pot is also better because there is no residue of oxidation left in it (which you can taste pretty quickly with an aluminum coffee pot). ).I love that the design allows me to hold the lid open so I can see when it's done without worrying about coffee spilling all over the stove. I could then close it when I water. The kettle stays hot for a long time after brewing, so it is impossible to rinse it immediately. I also wish it came with extra silicone pads as this one doesn't last as long as a pot. Those two things aside, it really is the perfect pot. Not sure why anyone is giving 4 and not 5 stars given the alternatives currently available. It really is the perfect little moka pot.
