Review on Premium Primula Stainless Steel Stovetop Espresso and Coffee Maker, 6 Cup, Wood Handle - Effortlessly brew rich coffee at home! by Lacey Anderson

Quality construction but definitely not wood

I've always used moka pots for good strong coffee and have tried different types. Prímula offers multiple design options in stainless steel and aluminum, giving you an economical alternative to some other established brands. This Moka Por makes good strong coffee. The overall construction of the stainless steel components is beautiful and has a nice finish. Unfortunately, the handle and other components aren't wood at all and have a terrible finish in some places. This is a bit misleading as the description says wooden handle. I also had some issues with the relief valve. There is a fairly strong leak coming from the valve. This is a bit dangerous as the boiling water and steam comes out of the valve pretty hard and you could burn yourself if you're not careful. Luckily Primula customer service was easy to contact and after a few emails they offered a replacement. Apparently some quality issues with the first one were quickly resolved by contacting customer service. Finally, I quickly changed the awful aesthetic of the wooden handle with a quick coat of black paint. The overall look is much better and Primula should consider offering wood instead of a finish. navigate.
