I bought this amplifier to improve the radio reception of this radio head unit with Carplay. In general, NF 7dB is not very good, but who knows how bad this radio is. In any case, this also seems to have not only improved the HF reception where I get a lot more channels, but also the background. noise too. Turning the volume up to "loud" seems to overflow my speakers, which doesn't help this amp. If there are too many details, it's because I'm an EE/RF engineer. The thing seems to work and for the price you can't beat it.
