Bought for my stepson. She hasn't had a new collar since she grew up. After I put it on her, she jumped around the house. She showed her collar to her father when he came home that day. She still proves it at the dog park and when hanging out with friends. She is very proud of her great collar. Ironically, she also took a big step forward by accepting me as part of the pack. I'm sure my interactions have changed too, but hey, if it takes a collar to win her over, I'm all for it. It is a heavy collar in terms of quality. DOES NOT FAIL. This dog will not run away, play in the woods, or get caught on a collar. If she were a more active dog I wouldn't let her leave the collar, I would like her to have a detachable collar.
