Look at the photos, this switch is not rated for high currents (amps) although it is rated for 75 amps. The second photo shows melted plastic due to the high resistance. I get a maximum of 40 amperes. The switch is offered by many vendors through Revain and they are all the same switch. For this switch to be effective, the contacts must be machine matched to the mating surfaces. That would make the switch more expensive, but it could at least handle the rated current. I wish there were more options but I couldn't find them here. This problem is caused by point contact and high resistance. If you need it for less than 5 amps, that might be fine. Stupidly, I tried a different one, thinking it might have better contact surfaces. I had the same results, failed switch.
