Not that we had any problems but I wanted a camera to monitor our camp. Gives me peace of mind and I feel it helps protect our property. I specifically wanted a solar device that wasn't wired but had a backup battery. I was immediately drawn to the claim that this backup battery could last 4 to 6 months before needing to be recharged. It's much more convenient than daily or weekly charging. We've only had it for about a month so if it doesn't last as long as it says I'll come back and update. The lack of updates means the claim is genuine. The whole system is waterproof as it should be. It's outside so it's kind of a requirement. lol. It was a quick setup and easy and hassle free connection to Wi-Fi. One thing to note: only supports 2.4G WiFi. No SD card is included but supports up to 128GB. Get an SD card. It features an IR motion sensor and automatically records 20/40/60 seconds of video when motion is detected. Whatever you have installed. Two way audio is really cool. Although we centered it on our storage area, I can talk to them when the kids or my husband are outside. Everything is very simple and we get a good picture, video and sound.
