I think this product is enough to keep my braids hydrated, but I ordered it specifically for itch relief and it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I braided my hair several times. quarantined once only to unweave it a few days later because the itching is driving me insane. I first tried the Rasta Locks spray my husband bought for me because he was tired of watching me bang my head but it didn't help the itch. After reading the reviews I decided to try this spray. The tea tree oil and menthol sounded like they were soothing and they really soothed the scalp from the first spray. But after a few moments my scalp starts itching like crazy again.
