Review on Brother CAUSB1 ScanNCut Pattern Collection by Dawn Fischer

Received this yesterday so it arrived a day early which is good. Now I have all four collections. I looked at the spreads in the case and reviewed all the designs. I didn't find the designs to be the same as my car. I have cm550dx. I found two designs that already have a family on my car, that is design #27 and design #30. Margaret's design #27 is like a daisy in a circle. This one looks like it will complete this family of designs. Design #30 is called "Pink Fringed Flower". This design also looks like it could add to a similar family of designs. I find these two similar but different than the others. I also noticed that this collection comes with a 135 page PDF that can be saved to your computer or printed. This PDF is a guide on how to create these designs after you cut them out with Brother Scanncut. When I look at the learning part of projects, I find it the most difficult. There are many steps to most designs. These designs are made up of many cut out pieces. You can also hand sew these designs or use a suitable sewing foot for quilting and straight stitching. Like other collections, these designs are supplied on a USB stick. I will most likely use designs #40, #41, #43, #22. I also love the included appliqué numbers. I will use them too. I wish it included the alphabet too. There are more themes, but I don't see myself being able to use all the themes. There are 55 designs in total and a color print showing what number they are and what they look like. The price here at Revain is better than what I've seen on other online sites. I paid 44.plus USD. These four collections have increased in value since I bought my first two last year. Home Decor Pattern Collection #3 and 3D Collection #4 I received Appliqué Collection #2 with my scan. Designs are slightly different in general. For example, you have an ice cream cone, a piece of cake and a glass of milk. Scotty the dog, hearts, flowers, the lady accompanying Sunbonnet Sue and Andy. Maybe mother. Cup of tea with a box with the word tea. Instead, I could actually see the cauldron. Sugar bowl with the word sugar. Zigzag X and more. The designer of this collection is the Japanese quilter Suzuko Koseki. If you're not a quilter and are good with paper, you can make some of these paper designs. I might try more detailed designs myself first to see how they fit together. If you hope you like it and are interested in adding designs to your skunk then check it out and see if it suits you. faun
