I bought this product based on the misleading header that it is waterproof and customer reviews stating it is waterproof. Maybe if your usage is a quick 15 minute walk in a light sprinkle then this would work fine or a quick 10 minute heavy downpour it will shed water. I bought it to go to a football game. By halftime my arms, chest and shoulders were soaked through. It does run large so pick accordingly. It isn't a bad product, it's just very over sold as far as what it can do. Resistant to short stints of light sprinkles is all, but don't think this product is waterproof and will keep you dry for any truly extended time in the rain. I'm just thankful that day wasn't too cold or I would have been all sorts of miserable.
