Review on πŸ”… Leviton Quiet Step Rotary Fan Speed Control - RTF01-10Z, 1.5A, Single Pole, White/Ivory/Light Almond by Bryan Maignan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am stingy but not easy to please.

I tried this option as it was the cheapest of the well-reviewed fan switches when I preferred this approach to the remote control version of my two new ceiling fans. It didn't disappoint: it looks, feels and behaves like a much more expensive device; If I were to estimate the cost I would say easily $25-40. The low price bothered me at first as other "budget" switches have been panned in their reviews and you get what you pay for. I can assure you that while it isn't the most stylish and modern switch, when it is it is reliable. Speed works like this: You set your fan's pull switch to the highest setting, and the switch accepts it. from there. The "Max" setting is likely to provide 100% throughput, with a linear offset down to the "Low" level that's slow enough that you can see the individual blades turning. If value is more important to you than looks, this purchase won't compromise on build quality or performance.
