I really enjoyed being able to control some of my devices as I like being able to control things with my smart device. The only thing I have is that the Zaza app has limitations when trying to create a custom remote. If you decide to create a new device you should use the default template and I haven't found a way to customize the text to add my own buttons when using the learn feature. In other words, depending on the device type, you need to add buttons based on pre-selected options. this. on my yamaha receiver i can select specific sound programs, enhancements and encoders, but i cannot create a button for these specific functions. I can use a pre-made button for another function like fast forward and program my sound program to work when I press fast forward on the remote in the app. Aside from this issue, everything else works fine. If you're trying to get help with the app, the programming instructions also target another version that allows you to add your own buttons. So I'm not sure if this will be in an update or if it's a previous version of the app, but this feature would be very welcome to make the software more user-friendly.
