Great replacement for a lost remote control
I lost my remote control and this works great, it took me a while to go through the switches in different combinations to finally find the right one, because my ceiling fan is on a vaulted ceiling and I didn't want to climb up there and look at the base unit to see what the combination was. Also, it doesn't come with a battery, which I didn't notice in the description, so I bought mine from a local store. It's one of those ones that looks like half the AAA battery you use in a garage door opener.
