You get what you pay for, of course the colors on the remote don't quite match the backlight but I'm fine with that, I wasn't looking for colors as accurate as those on the remote displayed pallet, easy to install. I have a 40 inch TV instead of a monitor in my studio and it looks like a spaceship, you can adjust the brightness of the light which is a plus. Anyway, the RGB color converter is made out of cheap plastic, so I recommend removing it when you're away from home, or using it with a fuse/regulator to avoid voltage damage.
