In my opinion, this shape and volume (750 ml) is the perfect size for hiking. First, you don't need much more water, even water-heavy camping meals usually don't need more than 16 ounces (500 ml). I was originally considering 500ml, but it's too small to hold fuel and a stove. I also recommend this particular shape. There are some wider 750ml kettles out there, but a) they don't have enough height to accommodate fuel and a stovetop, and b) they're clumsy for drinking coffee. This product seems to be an exact match for Toakes in terms of material and size. it's just cheaper. The quality seems excellent so far. It's well made, the lid slides fairly firmly, removing easily but just enough not to accidentally detach. Some have mentioned that it might not be titanium. I'm pretty sure you can't get that much weight with aluminum. As for nesting, with a 4-ounce can of fuel there's still plenty of room at the bottom for a small stove and lighter. See photo, I have an MSR Pocket Rocket 2 and it fits great with room for a lighter and a small flimsy towel.
