This is a really great car! @ 750W you will definitely get a lot of bang for your $$$. The unit of measure is 14 3/4 inches. round and just under 12 inches. Height when using all 6 slots. Those dimensions don't seem like much, but once it's on your countertop you'll see that it has enough space to pack your dehydrating essentials. The 7 1/4" that you see in the product description is the storage height. In case you haven't already read it, the unit also comes with 2 fruit bun trays, 2 trays with strainer and 4 packets of jerky marinade (2 hot and 2 regular flavors).I first ordered 2 dehydrators from Wintergreen and sent them back as soon as I saw the wattage of the power cord.The seller (Vibrant Kitchen) doesn't list the wattage (only 230w, very low) and doesn't have any Add-ons like this. Horrible ads on it and it's really small for $60. The Presto 06301 Dehydro Digital Electric Food Dehydrator is a real workhorse with a whopping 750W for only $55!
