Review on Lee_Store Cooling Latitude Inspiron 17 3780 by Michael Lucas

I bought this for my Dell Inspiron 17 3000 Series model 3793 which I bought brand new in June 2020. From day one, out of the box, the fan often made horrible scratching noises, like the fan blades were rubbing against the case. Since it was still working, I thought it might take some time to "break in". Not so. It only got worse. Since it was still under warranty I contacted Dell for support. They sent me a return box and told me it took about 2 weeks from dispatch to return. I can't go that long without a computer. So I ordered this product, received it in a few days and installed it myself in just over an hour. The fan fitted and connected perfectly and now I have a quiet running laptop! Shame on Dell for shipping a brand new laptop with a clearly defective component! I highly recommend this item.
