Every Christmas I bought or made something useful for my children. This year I chose this pocket watch for my 18 year old son. Although it's something he wouldn't normally wear, he really liked it because he said it was unique (which is good for him because boys his age don't wear pocket watches these days). He particularly liked the message written on it. When he opened it and read it, he liked it immediately. The next day, when setting the time, he noticed that the second hand was not working. I thought I would have to send it back but upon closer inspection he found a very small plastic clasp under the handle that had to be removed. After removing it started ticking. He loves his watch.
