This is quite a heavy saw when you take it out of the box. The thick, curved, rubberized handle and metal blade lock are very durable and impressive. But I was surprised to find a 1mm thin blade. The blade bends in my hand, which makes me doubt it. So I ran to chop down a dead tree in the yard. Now I'm impressed again, as the thin blade cuts through the 1" branch like butter. I think this saw is like a flexible boning knife. A slight bend helps get into those hard-to-reach places. Milled like most wood saws. In addition, each tooth has 2 bevels to reduce friction and cut faster. I didn't even have to make very long movements. Just a few small movements cut a 1" diameter branch very cleanly. Compared to other folding saws, this is the one average price, but you get your money's worth when it comes to the features, versatility and longevity, farm use, camping, etc. However, I'm not sure about the lifetime guarantee Who is for life?
