They are great. Have them in all sizes. My canaries could use them all. Put a regular water dispenser next to it for a week to ease the transition. The water level needs to be monitored to make sure it's working and checked regularly to be safe. I use my water bottles to fill from the top and only have to take them out occasionally for a deep cleaning. The water stays fresh and free from dirt. Birds can't use it for bathing, so you can control the birds' actual consumption. I recommend a small to medium size depending on the size of the cage. The seller is very quick to respond to returns. Of the dozen I ordered, one had a slow leak. Replaced immediately by Amazon/Seller. Didn't even have to repack. I just returned the unit to UPS without a box. Very cool. Highly recommended.
