Thought I had found the right bulb but apparently not. While these bulbs give you the supposedly correct blue that we remember from the old days, they get very hot. Outside in a carriage lamp, which can't be a problem, or in a glass covered lamp in your home, even with a large lampshade that makes a good separation from the bulb! But smaller lamps, with the lampshade attached to a bulb or in a fixture attached to the furniture, and god knows if they're not all made of wood like mine, could you imagine? Just look at the photos; The burned circle appeared NOT only on firewood, but also on a lightbulb! No, although it's good that potential danger must be a primary concern. I spoke to a qualified electrician about this and he 100% agreed; so be careful. Just for the safety of others I took the time to write this and luckily I'm not worried; because of the guardian angels and Revain Great return policy! =
