Review on Windemere B3596LF - 2 Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet: Superior Quality and Modern Design by Bim Cook

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Swivel bar too short

Beautiful faucet. However, understanding and ease of implementation are two different things. Put the faucet in first, not the valves as the instructions say. You have no space to operate the faucet if the valves are installed first.2. Maybe it's just my sink, but I think I have a standard sink and it was impossible to get a key or a pair of 1" channel locks except to tighten the faucet. A kitchen sink wrench will probably fit, but another problem is holding the faucet in place while you tighten the nut. I was able to get it pretty tight, but it took a while.3. The only real issue with this faucet is the configuration of the plunger, stem, and rotary stem. After all these years, do you think it would be any better than two rods held together with a clip that falls off and a screw holding the rod that comes out of the faucet? Simply put, the swivel rod is too short. Wrap it with a few layers of tape and this should act as a stopper. If you end up adding a stopper, the cheap plastic plunger will likely keep popping out as the weight of the stopper pulls the pivot rod down. Overall, I'm happy with the end result; It just takes a lot of time and pain.

Pros
  • Includes matching metal drain to complete the look.
Cons
  • Big and bulky.
