Great monitor for schoolwork and casual games

I bought this monitor after trying it on my brother's gaming PC and while I can't tell you if it's good or bad for gaming, I can tell you that it's great for multitasking - especially the college. I connect this monitor to my Macbook via a USB-C/HDMI adapter, which also has an auxiliary power port. To be honest I now have a hard time using my laptop for study without it as it's very difficult to navigate without the extra space a monitor gives me. The review says the monitor sits at a terrible downward angle, that person probably doesn't realize the screen can be tilted. When it first comes out of the box, it will automatically grab it right out of the box at a very sharp angle. Don't panic, just tilt the screen up as it should be adjustable. Due to the nature of wide screens, no video platform fills the screen. This monitor is designed for dual monitor use and is not intended for theater use. A lot of the games I play fill the screen giving you an extra viewing angle (like Stardew Valley or Minecraft) and it looks very clean and amazing. Also, just want to point out that I haven't really bothered to find a driver that helps with window resizing. automatically. On a MacBook, you have to manually resize each window, and you can't crop and automatically resize a window like a Windows user can. I believe there is a free driver on the LG website but I just don't mind finding it. This also means that my Macbook has to be placed to the left of the monitor so that I can use my MacBook's screen as a display. second monitor. When it's not placed on the left, I still have to pull windows off my MacBook as if the laptop were on my left. Just a note to remember.
