At first I was skeptical about this printer, there were no good reviews on YouTube about the preliminary model, but I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. It prints almost flawlessly out of the box. The bed level sensor consists of a highly sensitive hall effect sensor that detects when the jet touches the bed. The print head moves slightly and this causes the hall effect sensor to work. I couldn't see it moving with my eyes, but it blends in perfectly and creates fantastic first layers. It works with modified Marlin firmware and has everything you would expect like baby steps, but they also added a way to save this for next time. The motherboard has space for esp01s so it can accept esp3d if you add your own chip. So far I've gone through almost 1/2kg Pla and only one bad print was my fault. Tested with TPU and it prints perfectly. What I don't like is that the base is plastic. I would have preferred it to be metallic and stiffer but that doesn't seem to affect print quality and it's reinforced with a 2020 rail where needed. I had the portal loose, but that was easily fixed with the included wrench. , so plan to just tighten it before printing. The extruder is not an e3d v6 type as some early reviews said it has a smaller heatsink and uses the BMG style extruder front as the heatsink. Overall I'm really impressed with this printer and it managed to print for almost a week with the longest print lasting around 11 hours. It will be a great entry-level printer that will be your workhorse!
