Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Michal Cedronski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Changed shoes recently (a week), drove a little more than 300 km. (50/50 - city-highway) On snow, ice, so far only one morning has been run, but as expected - no problems. But I can already tell almost everything about asphalt. Moreover, the feeling of summer is even fresher. They write - noisy, . yes, on asphalt after 80 you can’t call it completely quiet, the sound begins to persistently seep into the cabin, and after 110 quietly playing music - you have to make it louder . although in the summer at such a speed, (well, maybe a little more - about 130) - the salon ceases to be completely quiet . . the most important! It is NOT A LITTLE LOUDER than any other spikes. the same khaki7ki . . don't expect studded tires to sound like summer road tires or soft Velcro. I myself spent 3 winters on Velcro - silence and comfort . BUT ! - for the season, "Velcro", is 3-4 "setups" on the ice "rolling out" in front of crossroads or on a sudden ice crust on bridges. Lucky . but now only - spikes! I think safety is more important than a little more comfort. . despite the fact that Ice Zero is a third or even half cheaper . neighbors in various tests . I don’t really trust them . but . according to personal feelings - it seems to be true .

Pros
  • Excellent road holding in all situations. On dry and wet asphalt, acceleration and braking differs little from summer, despite the "nails". For a city where asphalt is everywhere, even in winter, this is a real advantage. The price is adequate.
Cons
  • Have not found.
