We used the larger speaker for watching movies poolside or even camping and the speaker was too loud. I ordered this one and it's perfect. Setting it up is very simple, since you can either connect it via our projector or, if we're watching from our phones, simply connect via Bluetooth. The volume can get very loud and isn't even turned all the way up. As you can hear in the video, I start the volume low because it's pretty loud up close, but I don't even crank it all the way up and it can get really loud. When we're shooting a movie, I only have to turn it on about halfway, and it's loud enough that we can hear it clearly. Whether we're listening to music or watching movies, this speaker is great for everything. Ever since football came back we've been watching games outside of the pool and again the sound quality from this speaker is impeccable. It is lightweight and easy to carry. In the video it's plugged in, but you don't see it's plugged into our power supply. Yes, it works when connected to a power bank, making it interesting for camping. Great speaker and clear sound.
