First impression: very light. These are probably the lightest shorts I have now and I've been running for 30 years. The inner lining is a little loose for me, but I won't blame the shorts for that as much as I do for my thin stature. It was secure enough to keep goods safe with minimal loss. I'm 5ft 8in, 120lbs and the small size is about mid-upper quadriceps. The build quality will show the time. I'm a bit concerned as the material is pretty damn light. It also means the wind will blow your quads up making them appear even shorter than they already are. Can't comment on wicking or grip yet as it was too cold to sweat during the run. For the price this was a great purchase.
