This collar works MUCH better than the original Gentle Leader I have. I have a 60 pound pit bull and the Gentle Leader kept leaving horrible marks on his face, but that's also due to his breed - they have bigger jaws than other small breeds. Because it's so strong and so much easier to distract, I always made sure to do it in Gentle Leader in public because there was no safety rail. With this Haiti OptiFit head collar there is a safety clip that can also be attached to your dog's collar so god forbid he breaks out of this amazing training device there is an added safety measure. Big enough for my dog to open his mouth to eat, drink and pant on hot summer days. My dog has never pulled since I bought this product and I love that I can continue to focus on her training while I'm distracted in public and not worried about being dragged to the ground. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants their dog to stop pulling right away!
