It seemed a bit pricey for a kid's shirt but it was worth it. and some snow. I bought Smartwool Mid 250 shirts for me and my boys and some cheap cotton thermos for our trip. We have lived in these. I should have saved on cheap stuff and just got 2 fancy wool shirts. The wool is pleasant (does not scratch), takes up little space in the package, dries quickly (I wash them by hand in the evening, in the morning they are dry). Quality matters.
