I was looking for a good value motion alarm system with email notification. If this fits your needs, then this system is for you! My goal didn't seem difficult until I tried to buy it! I've tried over a dozen different security systems (with motion sensors) and none of them worked. What I've learned is that when it comes to motion activation, all other systems are the same, but this one is different. Others use the video image to detect motion, resulting in a large number of false alarms. At night it is activated by moths, while during the day a bird or even shadows of clouds will alarm. In this system there are cameras equipped with a separate motion sensor, which is of great importance. I rarely get false alarms and it's usually associated with large stray animals. The night picture quality is not very good, but I put another high quality camera next to this one to get a better picture. Their new cameras would probably fix that problem, but I had extra cameras so it was a cheap fix. Yes, the user interface is very basic, but it works well and most systems on the market have the same basic graphics. It doesn't matter much. Now I can leave my home knowing it's in good hands. I am VERY happy with this system.
