I've tried the Altra on different iterations of the Lone Peak line a few times in the past and while I liked the fit I felt good on mine Preference was due: the shoe's lightness didn't feel supportive or stiff enough to wear all day, every day, and the color schemes were always pretty intense. However, that 'khaki' color is amazing on the new 5. A good muted green is hard to come by with rubber soles and overall subtle earth tones. And they seem a little more substantial than 4.5 or 4, which is great. This will be my pair until they make something better or add more subtle color combos like this.
