Disappointing Trail Runners, No Comfort

Based on my observations, these shoes are a poor choice for any serious runner. While they may be stylish, the lack of cushioning and arch support make them extremely uncomfortable for extended wear. Unfortunately, these sneakers aren't worth the investment or the pain.

Pros
  • Stylish design
Cons
  • Uncomfortable and lack support for running

Lightweight, comfortable and life saving

I've had pain in my legs for weeks. Try insoles, metatarsal pads, and different shoes. Only 2 days in these shoes and my feet are so much better. Maybe it's a good sock that leaves room, maybe a zero drop and an insole. Not safe but very light and comfortable. You can come back and enjoy nature again.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • boring packaging

A big improvement over previous versions

I've tried the Altra on different iterations of the Lone Peak line a few times in the past and while I liked the fit I felt good on mine Preference was due: the shoe's lightness didn't feel supportive or stiff enough to wear all day, every day, and the color schemes were always pretty intense. However, that 'khaki' color is amazing on the new 5. A good muted green is hard to come by with rubber soles and overall subtle earth tones. And they seem a little more substantial than 4.5 or 4, which is

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • I don't remember but something was
