I have a Galaxy Note 9 and it's the first USB-C device I've owned. These adapters are good for emergencies, but do not support fast charging on my Galaxy Note 9. When connecting, a pop-up appears saying the phone is charging slowly. You keep the load amount, but the load amount never increases. If you use your phone while it is charging, the amount of charge will decrease very slowly. It's better to just buy the right USB-C cables.Update: I later learned that you need the right cable and power adapter with the right rating to support fast charging.
