Works great on a 2 " roll bar and when using a 4 point harness.

Bought for a '19 Honda Talon and it fits exactly as intended despite Honda's 2" roll cage. The mirror worked great due to the restricted visibility with the 4 point seat belts , which prevented us from turning our heads far enough to look backwards when descending the trail.The only downside I have to say is that you have to be really careful when tightening the set screws or they break easily.
