I chose it as a cute helper to help my baby fall asleep. Pros: - stays upright - sound isn't too loud - nice variety of sounds/music - backlight attracts attention - cute animal - battery compartment screw goes in metal, not plastic Cons: - hard tummy, not comfortable - had to grab three different screwdrivers before I found the right size that fits the battery compartment - the music is too loud to put in the crib next to the baby's ear This monkey looked so cute and happy that I decided to take it. The toy is almost 7 inches tall. Arms, legs and head are very soft, while stomach and back are made of hard plastic. The three buttons on the front panel are easy to press and each play three different types of sounds (sounds of nature). , 12 songs, 6 funny noises). The backlight is on while the sounds are playing. and they last longer than 2-3 seconds. The natural sounds are good but still electronic. The rest is nice and serves its purpose. the noise isn't too loud, but I still wouldn't place it too close to the baby's head as it's louder anyway (why these things are never volume adjustable, I don't understand). in the creation of this toy from the service end. One screw holds the battery cover (2x AAA), but a thinner one with a regular sized head is needed. This screw is not included in the plastic (which wears away with use). but screws into the metal insert. So beware!
