Didn't work on my 01 325i, car electronics did.
Didn't work on my 01 325i, auto electronics didn't recognize it. Originally bought from the dealer, works like a key fob but costs only 3 times as much as this. Otherwise, it fits nicely in place and connects directly to the car's wiring.
