. I confess it's my fault for not reading the description carefully before buying, but maybe the product name should be Latex Aquarium Gloves. When I saw that they were good for aquariums and allergen prevention I shouldn't have assumed they were latex free. After using these gloves and having a strong reaction, I scrolled down and read the description again. It's a shame because they work well, but a lot of people these days are allergic to latex. If you are like me you are looking for nitrile or some other product. I'm deducting a star because my hands and face feel like I'm wallowing in nettles.
