Review on Zeiss Ikon Distagon T ZM 35mm f/1.4 Wide-Angle Lens for Leica ZM-Mount Cameras, Black, Model: 000000-2112-846 by Jen Rose

This lens is as good as a fast 35mm lens can get. I also have a Voigtländer 35/1.2 II and it throws it completely out of joint. Incredibly sharp opening and ever sharper closing. The bokeh is really very pleasing, the colors and contrasts typical of Zeiss glass are trendy and really pleasing. It is larger but significantly lighter than the Voigtländer. If you want a smaller 35/1.4 with the same performance your only other option is the Leica Summilux FLE and this lens is several times more expensive and frankly optically no better. I had probably 6 different 35/1.4. multiple systems and manufacturers and this is probably my favorite.
