It holds up well but only if both magnets make contact with the plate. The screws should not interfere, the plate should of course be aligned. But most importantly, the pairing of the two is crucial. My drawer and cabinet are either slightly crooked or just random variations in how the parts rotate slightly when the screws are tightened, which makes the difference between low tension (from just 1 magnet) or strong enough tension when both are in contact. (This is a noticeable difference). Loose fit allows for adjustment but I'm afraid this will cause the screws to pull out and the latches to rattle over time. A better latch would have magnets that would have some (more?) float. to make this adjustment within the part itself. Now I need to figure out how to slant the edge of the part(s) to get a good match and a strong connection that won't fail. With some float in the latch, this makes the closure more secure and rattle-free, but makes assembly a lot more difficult - unless you have a better cabinet or you're unlucky enough to screw them on and how they seat. I will buy more of these. I'll see if others have a game to match it. If I find one, I'll buy it.
