Review on Mount Articulating Bracket 200X200 400X200 by George Bell

Was looking for a cheap swivel mount for a Samsung PN60E6500 plasma TV. I wanted a mount that can be tilted vertically but doesn't need to be moved after initial installation, eliminating the need for expensive omnimounts or peerless mounts. Upon opening the package, I found that the included plastic bubble was crushed and unusable. It's okay, because for me it wasn't a commercial argument. I used my own bulleted level to install. The device comes fully assembled with the exception of the VESA TV mounts. Since the unit weighs about 28 pounds, I used the included hex wrench to unscrew the mounting point from the levers. I'm not sure why it comes assembled when it's easier to assemble the plate without the levers attached (and also with a spirit level on top). I've noticed how cheap the screws are and used my own and threw away the cheap ones blow my head to prove they're bad the way they look and feel. After installing the plate and reattaching the arms the unit is installed. Before attaching the adjustable arms to the plasma, I checked their attachment to the arm plate. Luckily I did this before attempting to install the TV on it. The M6 screw is too short to effectively lock the TV mounts in place One of the cheapest mounts of this type out there. It costs horrible hardware issues but it only gets 3 stars because I didn't trust the cheap grommets and had to buy 2 M6 screws that would actually fix the TV gap on the mounting plate. Once the TV was in place, he positioned the TV perfectly and I used the allen wrenches not provided to tighten the levers. You get what you pay for, but at this price point, the pain is to be expected, and in the end, the product works in two-dollar parts. Edited to add a few notes: This is a mount that requires a 16" OC bolt location. The mounting plate does not support 24" OC bolts.
