I ended up buying these shoes for my dad before we went on a family trip to the great outdoors with Big Bear. He needed a new pair of running shoes, not too expensive but good for running and hiking. I found them and was a little hesitant to buy them online as they weren't for me, but the moment I opened the box and saw the shoes I knew they were perfect for what he needed. . I think I ordered them a size 11 which was slightly larger than my dad's normal 10 1/2 but they fit perfectly after he has changed into thicker socks. The quality is really good for no name shoes. The rubber outsole and faux leather are very smooth and good looking. High heels so they sit higher than a normal pair of athletic shoes. It actually worked great because it helped keep his feet warm and protected while kayaking. The soles also have good grip - he said he can even take them with him when playing badminton. And the fact that they are all black and look stylish is a big plus!
