Makes clean lines but the string keeps breaking

Ideal for micro chalk and fine lines. It's clear, easy to see, and the chalk doesn't "puff" around the line when you click on it. Using larger lines with non-Myron chalk creates a cloud around the starting line making it difficult to see. The box is great, the wheel mechanics are amazing and smooth, and the locking feature is really good. This gets a star because the cord is basically cotton thread. When the chalk line is tied to the blunt end, it rests against a metal edge that will eventually cut through the line if you pull very gently. Each line should be able to handle 5-10 pounds of pull over long distances. It breaks down all the time. I think they make another thin line box with reinforced cord. Buy it. It's garbage.
