Love these. I read in a review that the battery lasts only two hours. I don't know what kind of batteries she used. I received them ten days ago and put in new batteries. The radios stood for 10 days. I bought them as a toy for my six year old son but we use them every day. He likes it when I talk to him on the radio to tell him dinner's ready or something. I don't know how long these batteries will last, but it's been 10 days and they're still fully charged. He had no trouble using them. First thing I did when I got them was put the batteries in, second thing I blocked. I haven't played with any of the features and I haven't made any changes to the settings. He has dropped it more than once and everything is fine. They are shaped to fit comfortably in your hand. There are protrusions that help keep him from slipping out of his hands. The talk button is rubberized, does not slip. Everything is of high quality. These aren't just toys; They don't look like toys.
