For the price they should be covered in rubber as they rattle against the car paint.3. The "fixed mount" does not stay in place. It extends to the end of the rack.4. We were trying to transport 2 bikes and it didn't even come close. We would have had to remove the cranks on one of the bikes to mount 2 bikes. The part that hooks onto the tote bag and stops the bike from rocking doesn't seem to be available as a part.
