I bought this additional monitor for productivity reasons. I needed something small that wouldn't take up too much space, but I also wanted it to be portable. This optional mountable 13 inch screen is just what I needed. It has 1080p resolution, matte finish and is anti-glare. Initially I was concerned about the attachment mechanism but after trying it I'm sure it will stay. Place it behind the mounting frame with the optionally adjustable support foot. The photos show my old 2013 13" Retina MacBook Pro with the external display installed, both set to 60% brightness. The rMBP13 only has HDMI so I had to connect USB-C for power. When I checked how much power it draws , I saw a little less than 4W (5V @ 0.8A) and doesn't seem to need USB power.I also tested it with an HP Elite X2 G4 but it's 12" so I couldn't install it It worked well with a single USB-C cable. Speaking of USB-C, my iPad Mini 6 can even display an image directly on an external screen. It drains your iPad battery faster, so you might want to use a different USB-C Want to connect power source for longer sessions while charging your iPad It's heavy After attaching the handles to the back of the laptop screen, the folding screen can be folded down The screen part is thinner so it shakes a bit but once he's in the right position, I don't have to touch him again. The quality of the screen feels amazing and easy on the eyes.
