Well I can't comment on how cut resistant it is as I haven't been in an accident. a while. But I can say that size L gloves fit well. I have two other large cut resistant gloves and they both fit snugly on and off. I think it's cut resistant fibers. They are not as stretchy as normal glove material. OKIAAS gloves have slightly more material and are easier to put on and take off. However, I have a feeling that the length of the fingers seems a little tight. So if you have long fingers, this glove may not fit you.
