Wanted to love it but doesn't do a good job Cleaning

I'm a big believer in zero waste and organic living. I live on my own sustainable homestead where I am fully committed to organic farming. I have used these sheets for washing many times. I washed sheets, towels and regular clothes. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the washing machine was that everything seemed to be covered in fabric softener. I don't use fabric softener. I hang my clothes on a clothesline to dry. None had the extra fresh, clean scent I usually associate with a laundry day. I guess you could say I was pretty confident when the thin shirt I threw in the wash that had a slight combination of dirt and sweat on it looked the same after washing. I'm just not sure if this product cleans well or properly. The ingredients appear to be entirely oil-based with no real detergents: coconut oil alcohol, natural vegetable oil, coconut oil extract, deionized water. Bioclean detergent without fragrance. It comes in a cardboard box. Sure, there's a plastic bag that contains the detergent, so it's not zero waste, but it's way better than plastic containers. Biocline Ingredients: Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Laureth 7 (Plant-Based Surfactant), Sodium Silicate, Zeolite, Cellulose Gum (Plant-Based Chelating Agent), Hydrogen Peroxide, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Glycerin, Rustic Sodium Chloride Planet is made in China, where we know how lax the rules and security are. Bioclean is made in the USA. A box of Bioclinic, if you subscribe and save, lasts me for a year.
