Ideal as a desktop speaker for low to medium volumes. If the frequency range is not subject to them (sub-bass), be prepared for the absence of some sounds. These are my first true hi-fi speakers. In general, I was pleasantly surprised that I was finally able to hear mids / highs from the speakers at the level of such headphones as the Beyerdynamic 770 / Sennheiser HD25-1. What's more, I can clearly hear the difference between the Creative SoundBlasterX G6 and ES9023 DACs on these speakers. Which I could also hear on the ears of the AKG 701. And which is almost inaudible on the buyers and senheisers.
