I bought these to bolt to the outside window washer extension at the top of my house. While the mount for such a bar is threaded, the threads are plastic and hardly protrude, meaning it's too easy to over-tighten and strip the threads, which happened to me when I first tried to screw it on. I added some teflon tape to the threads of my rod to hopefully add more pressure and friction and hold it in place, and carefully screwed it back in, which worked to a point. Unfortunately, the attachment regularly began to loosen, making it difficult to finish the windows above. I don't think it will work the next time I need to attach it to a pole. If you don't need to use a pole, the rest worked fine. The microfiber cloth held the cleaning liquid well and the mop did what it was supposed to. Using the tool by hand was fine, but 3 stars because I really needed to work with the extension.
